Fencing Explained

Tekplas solid PVC panels attach to posts with a modular system, allowing you to create:

  • Straight runs

  • Rectangles & squares

  • U-shapes or L-shapes

Unused post faces are covered with a cover strip, keeping your installation neat and secure. For complex layouts, a detailed plan may be required.

Fixing Options

  • Permanent Fixing: Posts supplied longer to cement directly into the ground for maximum strength. (Best Method)

  • Solid Floor Fixings: Ideal for concrete or patio slab installations.

  • Ground Spikes: Ideal for soil or grass if you can't cement the posts

Finishing Posts

Each section includes one post. You will require additional finishing posts for:

  • The end of each fencing run

  • Walk-through gaps

  • Junctions between separate fencing runs

Post Height Options

  • No Fixing: Standard post height for floor fixings.

  • Standard Height with Ground Spike: Includes 660mm U-channel spike, ideal for soil or grass.

  • Long Post for Cementing: 300mm longer for permanent ground fixing.

Fencing Options Explained

  1. Standard Height – Standard panels and post height.

  2. Panel Off the Ground – 50mm gap for uneven ground or slopes.

  3. Panel + Gravel Board – Includes 150mm gravel board slotted into the panel to stop ground movement.

How to Measure

Each Post is 75mm Square

Each Panel is 1150mm/115cm Wide

The panel simply slots into the post via our moulding locking system and you don't lose or gain any size so simply add the posts to the panel sizes to work out what you need.

Or simply send us your overall sizes required and we will work it out for you and supply the fencing to suit your needs. So you simply need to install it and not adjust any panels.

Care Guide

Tekplas PVC Fencing Aftercare Guide To keep your Tekplas fencing looking fresh and performing well, we recommend carrying out maintenance twice a year – once at the start of spring and again at the end of summer.

Step 1: General Cleaning

  • Hose down the fencing to remove surface dirt and grit.
  • Wash thoroughly with hot soapy water and a soft sponge. This removes build-up from winter weather or heavy rainfall.

Step 2: PVC Surface Treatment

  • Once dry, use a PVC solvent cleaner to restore the finish. We highly recommend Everbuild PVC Solvent Cleaner for best results.
  • Spray directly onto the fencing and wipe with a clean cloth. This helps maintain the appearance, especially for coloured fencing, by protecting against fading from UV exposure. It takes many years of full sunlight, but following these steps will help to prevent this happening.

Yes, you will need a finishing post unless you are connecting the last panel back to the starting post (making a square or
rectangle) finishing posts are required with all straight line, L-Shape or U-shape fencing.

Yes, you will need a finishing post unless you are connecting the last piece of chain to a hook on the wall or existing fence
post.

How many finishing posts do I need?

Each panel comes with 1 x post. You will need 1 finishing
post for each run of fencing. For example if you have a 2 individual straight line runs then you will need 2 finishing posts.

Can we make bespoke size panels?

Yes, we can, all of our products are made to order. If you
need bespoke length panels then drop us an email to info@tekplas.co.uk with
your requirements.

Do you charge more for bespoke panels?

We do not charge any extra for bespoke panels, we charge
per panel.
