How to Measure

Measuring Your Gate Opening = To ensure an accurate fit, we need to know the total gap, including the posts. Here’s how to measure:

Measure the Total Gap: Measure the distance from wall to wall, or from wall to fence. Be sure to measure at the top, middle, and bottom of the opening to account for any variations.

Provide the Smallest Measurement: After measuring, record the smallest measurement from top, middle, and bottom in the "Total Gap" box. This will ensure a precise fit for your gate. Or put this in the customer notes section.

Post Thickness and Clearance: Once we receive the smallest measurement, we will subtract the thickness of the posts and include the appropriate clearance for a proper fit.

If you're unsure about the measurements or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us, and we’ll guide you through the process.

Existing Posts: If you plan to keep your existing posts, or one of them, let us know. Our standard gate package includes two posts, unless you specifically request otherwise.

Example: If you have a total gap of 1000mm we will minus the posts @ 75mm square per post and remove approx 15mm of clearance overall = 7.5mm either side of the gate and posts. Giving you a gate width of 835mm

Our products are suitable for all floor surfaces. Due to their construction they are strong and difficult for a child to move once in place. We provide rubber feet for hard and slippery floor surfaces.

Are the playpens easy to assemble?

Our playpens are easy to assemble. No tools are required and the posts and panels simply slide and lock into position.

Can I use a 6-panel playpen as a 4-panel playpen?

Yes, you can, simply remove 2 of the panels and 2 of posts
to create a 4-panel pen.

Can I mix and match the 110cm and 130cm playpen panel sizes?

Yes, you can, place the order online as a 130cm playpen and
then email info@tekplas.co.uk with your order number and required panel sizes.

Can I make my playpen bigger?

Yes, you can buy single playpen panels using the following

Can I add a gate to my playpen?

Our gate panels work with our 130cm playpens only. They can
